Trivia
- This episode marks the first (and only) time that a main cast member was not present for the episode; that being Paula Marshall (Iris West) due to her character being written out of the series. This leaves only three cast members to appear in every episode: John Wesley Shipp (Barry Allen), Amanda Pays (Tina McGee), and Alex Désert (Julio Mendez).
- CCPD officers Bellows and Murphy report a murder on Gardner and Fox. A reference to Gardner Fox, the co-creator of Jay Garrick, the Golden Age Flash.
- The lightning bolt symbol that eventually will go on The Flash suit (Earth-90) is also initially rendered on the Moon (Earth-90).
