Ganthet is a member of the Guardians.

Biography

Ganthet, alongside six of his species, became the Guardians of the universe and settled on Oa. The Guardians eventually came to possess knowledge of all realities and Ganthet, alongside his fellow Guardians, kept the Book of Oa and allied themselves with the Green Lantern Corps.

During the Anti-Monitor Crisis, Ganthet was preoccupied with a variety of problems, causing him to be late for a meeting between the Guardians and Felicity Smoak, who had arrived alongside Nyssa al Ghul and The Ray in search of the Book of Oa, which could provide the information needed to uncover the identities of the Paragons and resurrect Oliver Queen; the six Guardians decided not to help Felicity, though Ganthet voted in favor of her upon arriving. The shadow demons arrived shortly after at the behest of the Anti-Monitor, forcing the Guardians to call upon the Green Lantern Corps for reinforcements. Amidst the onslaught, Ganthet saved Felicity from the shadow demons after The Ray was hit while carrying her to safety and teleported the two of them to a chamber containing the Book of Oa. Felicity remarked on how incredible Oa was, though Ganthet was unfazed as, to him, "even paradise becomes boring after a while."

The two then reached the room containing the Book of Oa, where Ganthet warned Felicity of the book's dangers. However, Felicity was immediately sucked into the book, where she was bombarded with an assortment of images from across time. Ganthet reminded her to not surrender to time and its lies before guiding her back to reality. Afterwards, with the shadow demons defeated by the Green Lantern Corps, Ganthet transported Felicity, Nyssa and The Ray back to the Waverider.[1]
