Washington was a state on the west coast of the United States (Earth-38), which fronted the Canadian province of British Columbia (most notably the city of Vancouver) to the north. The Pacific Ocean lay to the state's west coast. The state was destroyed during the Anti-Monitor Crisis, when a wave of antimatter wiped out Earth-38 itself.^[1]

History

At some point in time, Washington became a state of the United States. Sometime after this, the state was labeled on a map used by Indigo.^[2]

• Alex Danvers references a time she was a doctor in Seattle in the episode "For Good". Her actress, Chyler Leigh, previously portrayed a doctor named Lexie Grey in Grey's Anatomy, which took place in Seattle.^[3]
• Alex Danvers's mention of working as a doctor in Seattle before joining the F.B.I. is likely a nod to Chyler Leigh's role as Lexie Grey in Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.^[4]

In 2019, during the Anti-Monitor Crisis, the planet Earth (Earth-38) was disintegrated by a wave of antimatter that destroyed the whole universe of Earth-38, likely including Washington.^[6]
