Overivew

On April 2, 1999 The Matrix, a Silver Pictures production, was released in theaters by Warner Bros. in association with Village Roadshow Pictures and Groucho Film Partnership. The film's plot revolved over "the fight for the future" and use of firearms. The movie was also noted for costume design, featuring leather and other black clothes.[1][2]

Over the years, it gained massive attention and was seen at some point in their lives by Cisco Ramon, Rene Ramirez, and Ralph Dibny.[1][2][3] Cisco himself compared one of the main characters Neo to his laser tag opponent, Chad McConnell,[4] and the film itself to one of Barry's The Flash suits.[5]

Up until late 2017, the poster for The Matrix was hanging on the wall in Cisco Ramon's apartment, before it was destroyed by Breacher.[1] Earlier that year, Rene Ramirez compared Laurel Lance's Black Siren suit costume to that of a character from the movie, Trinity.[2]
