- This template is an infobox for events. An example is to the shown here with referenced parameters down below.
- Syntax
- Type {{Event}} where you want to use it.
- Variations and Parameters
- In order to keep the wiki uniform throughout, please keep the parameters in this order.
name
- If the event's name is different than the pagename, then add |name=<!--name--> to the template. If
nameis not included, then the pagename is used. In the example, the name used is "The Crisis."
image
- Include an image of the event by typing the png file into the template like so: |image=<!--png file name-->. In the example, the image used is "Enlightenment.png."
location
- The location of the event should be under |location=<!--location in form used below--> in the template. In the example, the location used is "[[Star City (Earth-1)|Star City]]; [[United States (Earth-1)|United States]]."
casualties
- The casualties during the event should be entered into the template using |casualties=<!--names--> with <br>'s separating each unique character. In the example, the casualties used is "[[Ralph Dibny]]."
participants
- If the participants of the event are known, then it should be under |participants=<!--name--> with <br>'s separating each unique participant in the template. In the example, the participants used is "[[Team Flash]]."
pastevent
- If the event was in the past and does not occur yearly, add |pastevent=<!--date of occurrence--> in the template. This parameter cannot be used simultaneously with the yearlyevent parameter. In the example, the pastevent used is "October 31, 2024."
yearlyevent
- If the event occurs yearly, add |yearlyevent=<!--date of occurrence--> in the template. This parameter cannot be used simultaneously with the pastevent parameter. In the example, the yearlyevent used is "January 14."
show
- If the event is prominent in one particular series, add |show=<!--series name--> to the template. This parameter is used to continue the color scheme used throughout Arrowverse Wiki. In the example above, the show used is "Vixen."
- Location Format
The format of any location on the wiki should be two known quantities separated by a semi-colon. (If only one quantity is known, then we only add one.) The two most local locations should be used. The ordering of locality is like this
