An unnamed man (died May 7, 2014), credited as "Ripped", was a former prisoner of Iron Heights who joined Slade Wilson's Mirakuru-enhanced army during "the Siege".

Biography

Attack on SCPD

Ripped was one of the Iron Heights Prison escapees who joined Slade Wilson's army.^[1] He later faked a robbery of a convenience store, where he surrendered to the police. After Ripped was brought to the Starling City Police Department precinct, he attacked a few officers, including Kelton, before being killed by Quentin Lance with three grenades.^[2]

Alternate reality

Ripped was among the foes from Team Arrow's past who appeared in a dream-like shared hallucination imposed by the Dominators on Oliver Queen, Sara Lance, John Diggle, Thea Queen, and Ray Palmer. These foes were conjured by the Dominators to keep the captured humans from breaking away from the hallucination. In a confrontation, Ripped fought and nearly overpowered Ray, but the latter managed to shoot Ripped dead.^[3]

Powers and abilities

Powers

• Mirakuru/Artificially-enhanced physiology: Ripped received Mirakuru through a blood transfusion from Slade Wilson. His physical capacity was increased in terms of stamina, strength, durability, reflexes, agility, senses, and speed, in addition to an accelerated healing factor.
  • Enhanced strength: The Mirakuru serum drastically enhances the recipient's physical strength, beyond the capabilities of any normal human. As a result, Ripped was considerably stronger, and could easily overpower and outmatch a normal human; he was able to effortlessly snap or break Kelton's neck with his newfound strength.
  • Enhanced durability: The Mirakuru greatly enhances the recipient's physical durability; as a result, Ripped was considerably tougher and stronger than a normal human's. Ripped was able to take more damage than a normal human, and could survive considerable injury and blunt force trauma; it required the explosive force of three grenades to kill him.
  • Enhanced stamina: The Mirakuru serum drastically increases the recipient's stamina and endurance; as a result, Ripped was able to exert himself at peak physical capacity for greater periods of time. The Mirakuru serum reduced the effects of fatigue and pain, Ripped could exert himself for longer, and in a greater physical capacity than any normal human could.
  • Enhanced Speed: The Mirakuru serum also enhances the recipient's physical speed beyond that of any human; several Mirakuru-enhanced soldiers were able to briefly keep up with a speeding vehicle. Ripped was able to move at superior speeds to that of a normal person.
  • Enhanced reflexes: The Mirakuru serum increases the recipients reflexes and reaction times; as a result, Ripped was able to move and react much faster than a normal human.  
  • Accelerated healing factor: Due to the Mirakuru serum, Ripped could heal more quickly and effectively than a normal human. Ripped could almost instantly heal minor or mild injuries, and recover from injuries such as gunshots, stab wounds and high velocity impacts at an impressive rate, provided that they were not immediately fatal.

Abilities

• Expert hand-to-hand combatant: Ripped was a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant.

Weaknesses

• Explosive blasts: Despite his enhanced durability and accelerated healing, Ripped was killed when three grenades had exploded right next to him.^[2]

Equipment

• Deathstroke mask: Ripped wore a mask as his alterego. It was most likely given to him by Slade Wilson.
