The Prometheus suit was a protective suit worn by Adrian Chase as the villain Prometheus until his death.

History

Adrian donned the suit due to a hatred for the Green Arrow. It is designed similar to the Green Arrow suit, but overall having a darker shade of green. The suit also had two straps to carry a scabbard and a quiver to carry his sword and arrows respectively. On the sides of his abdomen, Adrian had six shuriken stored in pockets so he could throw them with ease. Lastly, he wore a mask with a voice filter that covered his entire face.

While in the suit, he killed Lieutenant Conahan for helping the vigilante.^[1] He also later hunted down Tobias Church while in the suit after the former left a club, threatening him and claiming that the Green Arrow was his to kill.^[2]

Functions

• Identity concealment: The primary use for the suit was to conceal Prometheus' identity in order to prevent his victims from knowing his true identity.
• Voice filter: The mask can alter Prometheus' voice.
• Armor: The suit also provided Prometheus with considerable protection for at least the torso, as shown when the arrows Artemis fired at Prometheus simply bounced off of him.
• Quiver: Prometheus carried a black arrow container, to carry his arrows with him.
• Scabbard: A scabbard was strapped to the back of the suit, allowing Prometheus to carry his chokuto when he was not using it.

Trivia

• In the video game LEGO DC Super Villains, the green color used on Prometheus's suit was earth green despite being a little bit lighter than his live-action counterpart.
